Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Budget mobile application provided by Alphasource. By downloading or using Budget, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Budget helps you track personal income, expenses, and budgets. The app is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
2. Not financial advice
Budget is a record-keeping and planning tool only. It does not provide investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. You are responsible for your financial decisions. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.
3. Your account and data
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for keeping your device secure. You retain ownership of the content you create in the app. Our use of your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Budget for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the app or its infrastructure
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others
- Use the app in a way that harms other users or Alphasource
5. Subscriptions and purchases
If Budget offers paid features or subscriptions, pricing and billing terms will be shown in the app and processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Refunds are handled according to the store's policies. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your store account settings.
6. Intellectual property
Budget, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Alphasource or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or brand assets.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Budget is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations will meet your expectations in all cases.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alphasource will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Budget. Our total liability for any claim related to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for Budget in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50 if you use the free version.
9. Termination
You may stop using Budget at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or discontinue the app or these Terms if you violate them or if required for legal or operational reasons.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction of residence where mandatory consumer protections apply, otherwise by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
