Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cradlecare mobile application provided by Alphasource. By downloading or using Cradlecare, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Cradlecare helps parents and caregivers log and review infant growth and daily care information. The app is for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
2. Not medical advice
Cradlecare is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Growth charts and logs are for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your child's health. In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
3. Parent or guardian use
You represent that you are a parent or legal guardian (or have appropriate authorization) to enter information about the child profiles you create. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you log and for who can access your device and the app.
4. Your data
You retain ownership of the content you create. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Cradlecare for unlawful purposes
- Enter false health information with intent to mislead healthcare providers or others
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the app or its infrastructure
- Use the app in any way that harms other users or Alphasource
6. Subscriptions and purchases
If Cradlecare offers paid features or subscriptions, billing is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Refunds follow the store's policies.
7. Intellectual property
Cradlecare and its branding are owned by Alphasource or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks except as needed to use the app.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Cradlecare is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, clinical accuracy of third-party growth references, or that logged data will meet the needs of any particular medical situation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alphasource is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for health outcomes, arising from your use of Cradlecare. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for Cradlecare in the twelve months before the claim, or USD $50 for free use.
10. Termination
You may stop using Cradlecare at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or discontinue the service if you violate these Terms or as needed for legal or operational reasons.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes posted on this page constitutes acceptance.
